Deb Ernst:
Deb ErnstAt 23 years old, Deb opened In Competition Sports. After riding her bicycle across the United States the summer of 1988, she wanted to move back to Green Bay, Wisconsin where she grew up and her whole family lives, but needed a job. As a multi-sport athlete who enjoys biking, cross-country skate skiing, running and triathlons, the store was a dream come true. In 1996, she did her first Ironman in Canada in 11:44. Being a mom to three very active boys, Hans Henry, 7 years old and twins Will Christian and Ian Joseph, 6 years old, keeps her busy car pooling to swim lessons, piano lessons, baseball games and many grocery stores to keep the refrigerator full. She loves to train with close friends and family in the early morning before the boys even stir. It starts her day with a clear perspective to juggle the stresses of the day.
